Hi, I'm Dana Simon;

The Cake Baker and Business Owner of Cooper Road Kitchen.

I have been baking cakes and sweets ever since I can remember, I took over from Mum (which I think she was very grateful for) doing my sister's birthday cake baking when I was about 18 and from there my passion for creating grew. Soon I was supplying family friends with cakes, cupcakes and many other edible treats as I grew my skill set.

In 2016 I took on my first wedding cake client and this cake baker has never looked back. My business was born after completing my Bachelor of Business Administration in the same year and from there has steadily grown into what it is today.

Growing up in the Barossa I have always loved that it attracts so many weddings and events due to the beauty of the landscape and the amazing wineries and function venues dotted around the area.

Marrying my husband and moving to Halbury (near the Clare Valley) has allowed me to expand my business and find another whole suite of amazing venues and allowed me to work with some equally brilliant small business' in another of SA's amazing regions.
